Vin Diesel and Paul Walker to Return in Fast and Furious 4
The Fast and the Furious 4 (2009) Movie — By Nix on October 3, 2007
This is interesting news. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker have decided that together they’re gold at the box office, but separately they’re, well, not so much gold, which may be why the dynamic duo are re-teaming for the fourth installment of the “Fast and Furious” franchise. Also according to the trade, Justin Lin and Chris Morgan are also returning as director and writer, respectively, having previously helmed the previous installment, “Tokyo Drift”. This kinda confirmation (THR says the acting duo are in negotiations to return) would seem to indicate that the Powers That Be are fast-tracking “Furious 4″ to beat the strike.
More:
Neal Moritz will produce the as-yet-untitled installment along with Diesel, who will produce through his One Race Films banner.
The story line is being kept under wraps, but fast cars are involved. A spring start is anticipated with shooting in Los Angeles, Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
The first “Furious,” released in 2001, was a surprise hit, grossing more than $144 million and creating a franchise for the studio while making stars our of Diesel and Walker. Only Walker returned for the sequel, “2 Fast 2 Furious,” and sat out the third installment, 2005’s “Tokyo Drift.” That movie had relative newcomer Lucas Black in the driver’s seat but did feature Diesel in a cameo at the end of the movie. His appearance was so well received that it was even mentioned in ads.
I guess no one is surprised that Vin Diesel is returning to the series. He did make a cameo at the end of part three, after all, and why would he do that if he wasn’t already willing to come back? Walker, on the other hand — well, Walker is a piece of drift wood. You can put anyone in his place and you wouldn’t actually have any drop in acting talent.

ok lets all yell and jump for this badboy ok ok lets get down to it number 1 the first one kicked ass in just about every way posible two the second one was a kick ass movie but was more about the cars then anything else and on to the drift movie i have to say that i almost cried when hann died tords the end of the movie he had the vin style but with his own flare so with no doubts that no matter if they put them in some suped up chevets or some of the hottest imports to DATE this movie is going to kick some real but
i think maybe dominic should’nt have the charger or the chevelle i mean c’mon is’nt this going to be a (FAST AND THE furious)movie i think it would fit if you’ll choose fast and cars like the ecipse,skylinegtr,mazdarx7,silvia,and hondas
that is the dumbest thing i ever heard……a suped up SS has a lot of torque and would jump off the line a lot quicker than any of the cars you just named.
sup Vin Diesel and Paul Walker
dude I like every movie you was is
thiz iz going to be off hook
NO AMERICAN MUSCLE PLEEEAAAASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well let’s see, I think that Vin is in a 2008 Mustang, and Paul Walker is in the new STI, this should be interesting to watch and see..
paul walker character brian ‘ conner still a cop or not?
I think this will be a great reunion for paul and vin…Vin should drive that stalefish 1970 Roadrunner(KICKASS CAR) and paul should be drivin a tuner like a skyline or rx-7…Remember Vin lives his life quarter mile at a time,so he should drive all muscle or a Viper…not a new one but the older style.
paul walker is the sweetyst boy in the world he is soooooo sexyyy…. ilove he very much.. you diana
the cars arent really that important as long as its nothing like the new nissan GT-R. Its a slap in the face to the skyline and their lovers
I think fast and the furius 4 will be the best ever. And i think brian , dom ,and shawn should race with three muscle cars like a dodge charger ,shelby gt 500,and a chevelle ss,plymouth cuda they jump off the line like that. no nos please just turbos big blocks and blowers.
