Man, that’s one strong bath! According to “Wanted” director Timur Bekmambetov, who will also be helming the sequel, they have a way to bring Angelina Jolie’s character back from the dead (her fate at the end of the original movie), and it involves that miraculous wax bath that all the Fraternity’s members take after each job, that literally heals their wounds and makes them good as new again. But can it actually bring people back from the dead? Apparently, yes.
Via SciFiWire, Timur Bekmambetov was attending the “9″ panel at Comic-Con, a movie that he also serves as producer, and he said this about Jolie’s return:
“James McAvoy will be in the movie, and he will try to wake up our Fox. She’s in a bath with wax.”
Fox, of course, is Angelina Jolie’s character, who took out the entire Fraternity ranks along with herself at the end of the movie. James McAvoy coming back is fine, but let’s face it, this is an Angelina Jolie movie, though I’m not entirely sure how that bath could cure a bullet to the head. If it can do that, imagine what it could do for, say, athlete’s feet and what have you.
Bekmambetov also says that production on the sequel is expected to start in a few months.
Below: Aw, the healing power of water. And Angelina Jolie all wet.
