Warner Bros. to Release Splice on DVD, Blu-ray This October

Because I’m a pathetic loser who doesn’t properly support original cinematic content the I should, I failed to check out Vincenzo Natali’s “Splice” when it hit North American theaters earlier this summer. Fortunately for those of us who missed the proverbial boat, Warner Bros. will release the film on October 5th. In terms of special features, all you’re really going to get is a behind-the-scenes featurette, nothing more. Given the film’s lackluster box office draw, I’m surprised they bothered to include that. The Blu-ray artwork lies below. In the meantime, take a moment or three to read the impossibly talented James Mudge’s review of the film by clicking right here.

Author: Todd Rigney

Todd was raised on a steady diet of Hollywood blockbusters, late-night Cinemax programming, and USA’s “Up All Night,” which may explain why his taste in movies is more than a little questionable. When he isn’t providing news and reviews for Beyond Hollywood, he can be found lounging lazily on his couch, perched in front of his television, or dwelling in places where direct sunlight can be easily avoided. He's happily married, in his 30's, and totally badass. If you'd like to reach Todd, you can follow him on Twitter or send him email/scoops to todd (at) beyondhollywood.com.
