Perhaps trying to flick a little jab at the full teaser trailer launch of Marvel’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”, Fox would like to remind you that they have their own Marvel superheroes ready to go in 2014 as well.

The studio has just released about six seconds from the teaser trailer for Bryan Singer’s “X-Men: Days of Future Past” via Instagram. I guess the cat’s out of the bat now, huh? Yes, Patrick Stewart’s Professor X is alive and well, and from the looks of it, the future has a sale on awesome leather outfits.

I still think it was a bad idea to mingle the two universes. First Class was a great start and it would have been far more interesting to see them explore that incarnation a little more

First Class wasn’t a should have been though.

First Class was a big surprise for me. I loved it but the indecision from Fox and company to label the film as a reboot or a prequel to the existing films hampered it a bit. This looks entirely separate from First Class even though a lot of the cast from First Class are back. Hopefully they’ll keep the tension that mounted between Fassbender and McAvoy and expand upon it. That being said, having the properties return to Marvel and getting a proper reboot in a few years would be sweet!

Big day for the Marvel fans! Looks cool! Can’t wait for a full trailer.
