The Taint (2010) Movie Image

I’m not joking when I say that directors Drew Bolduc and Dan Nelson’s deliriously deranged 2010 horror masterpiece “The Taint” is one of my all-time favorite horror movies. The film blew mytiny mind in much the same way “Street Trash” did back in the 80′s. I love it to death — LOVE IT — and I’m always quick to recommend it to those with, shall we say, questionable taste in cinema. Naturally, I’m quite excited to announce that, for one week only, “The Taint” is available to watch for free. That’s a gift, my friends, selfless and pure.

Unfamiliar with “The Taint”? Let’s fix that problem:

The water is tainted. The Taint poisons the minds of men. It turns them into raging misogynists: monsters who want nothing more than to crush women’s heads with rocks (or other objects).

When society is transformed into a land of sadistic violence and horrible brutality, it is up to Phil O’Ginny and his hot friend, Misandra, to combat the horrible evil that is “The Taint”. Can they survive a world brimming with castration and endless head crushing?!

Still not sold? Have a look at my review. When you think you’re ready to experience one of the craziest motion pictures on the planet, click PLAY on the video embedded below. If you like what you see, be sure to spend some money at the official “Taint” store.

About Todd Rigney

Todd was raised on a steady diet of Hollywood blockbusters, late-night Cinemax programming, and USA’s “Up All Night,” which may explain why his taste in movies is more than a little questionable. When he isn’t providing news and reviews for Beyond Hollywood, he can be found lounging lazily on his couch, perched in front of his television, or dwelling in places where direct sunlight can be easily avoided. He's happily married, in his 30's, and totally badass. If you'd like to reach Todd, you can follow him on Twitter or send him email/scoops to todd (at) beyondhollywood.com.
