Nicholas Hoult is a zombie with a heart who falls in love with a living girl played by the bodacious Teresa Palmer in Johnathan Levine’s post-apocalyptic zombie tale “Warm Zombies”, but then you probably already know that. In case you didn’t, check out the first four minutes from the film now online for your checking out viewing pleasure. Again, I can’t get over how faithful Levine’s take is to the Isaac Marion book. Everything, right down to the deadpan voiceover narration, is spot on.
Please to enjoy.
A funny new twist on a classic love story, WARM BODIES is a poignant tale about the power of human connection. After a zombie epidemic, R (a highly unusual zombie) encounters Julie (a human survivor), and rescues her from a zombie attack. Julie sees that R is different from the other zombies, and as the two form a special relationship in their struggle for survival, R becomes increasingly more human – setting off an exciting, romantic, and often comical chain of events that begins to transform the other zombies and maybe even the whole lifeless world.
Also starring Rob Corddry, Analeigh Tipton, John Malkovich, Lizzy Caplan, Dave Franco, Cory Hardrict, Justin Bradley, and shuffling its way into theaters this February 1, 2013.
