Watch The Entire Mortal Kombat: Legacy II Series Online NOW

Mortal Kombat Legacy II

One thing’s for sure: director Kevin Tancharoen is getting away with waaaaaaaay more in these “Mortal Kombat: Legacy II” episodes than he will be able to when he finally gets that “Mortal Kombat” reboot launched in theaters. Call me nuts, but I’m reasonably certain he’s going to be limited to a PG-13 (at best) rating, which will mean very few of the F-bombs that are being dropped in “Legacy II”. Which, oddly enough, probably makes this budgeted web episodes the preferable version. If, you know, you like a lot of F-bombs with your kung-fu.

Check out the entire “Mortal Kombat: Legacy II” web series online for your viewing pleasure now.

For some reason, I thought they were just going to show an episode a week like they did last time with the first series, but turns out, Machinima is releasing the whole shebang in one swoop. I have no idea if this was the plan all along or what, but it sure beats waiting. Am I right, kids?

“Mortal Kombat: Legacy II” stars Brian Tee as Liu Kang, Harry Shum, Jr. as the warlord adviser Kuai Liang, Casper Van Dien as Johnny Cage, Mark Dacascos as Kung Lao, Ian Anthony Dale as Scorpion, and Cary Tagawa as Shang Tsung, a role that he played in the original “Mortal Kombat” movie by Paul W.S. Anderson.

Don’t be too sure about the PG-13 rating. This is and always has been an adult franchise, and WB can look back at what happened when they went PG-13 with MK: Annhilation. PLUS this guy is showing how well an adult themed version would work.
This has been an awesome series so far, and I’m loving this season from what I’ve seen. Will watch the end of it tonight.

      Kung fu + shiny costumes + fantasy = PG-13.

Lol – well I hope you’re wrong and we get what we’ve been getting with big Legacy and Rebirth. Bring it Tancharoen!!

They’ll max out their profits with a PG-13 theatrical release and an “Unrated” version on DVD for the diehards. Most people have never even heard of “Mortal Kombat”.

True! And not the worst thing in the world. i just hope they push the PG-13 to the max.

            Commerce, baby, commerce.

Yeah I know! I’m thinking of which PG-13 movie I most recently watched where they really pushed the limits.

Just watched the whole thing and it was legit. Johnny Cage had me rolling every time he dropped an F-bomb. Liu Kang was awesome, great actor. Scorpion and Sub-Zero were also just as cool. It jumps around a bit with cuts everywhere but I understand that it was cut as a web series not a movie. This could easily be a (mature) tv series. I want more!

The show is ok but it needed to be better the writing could have been better they should had kept the writers of the first season to write the script for this season and the fights need to be better and Ermac could have wore his costume from the MK9 game.

It was good, hated the cliffhanger ending though. I’m kinda upset they didn’t get Matt Mullins back for Cage even though Van Dien was fun in the role. Also still confused about the Scorpion And Sub Zero thing. Like how is Bi-Han still alive in the present day. And I’m guessing Kenshi’s sword gived him extended life. Unless they are both transported through time. Anyways just bring on the last season and the film.
