Watch the First 10 Minutes of Director Seth Landau’s Take Out

One of the first features I tackled during my tenure as an Internet movie blogger-type person was “Bryan Loves You” director Seth Landau’s 2005 comedy “Take Out”, a feature about a journalist’s quest to expose the deep-fried underbelly of the fast food industry. Given that there are dozens of documentaries about the inherent evil of these value meal villains, it’s deeply surprising that the film has yet to find a distributor. In order to help get the word out about this criminally ignored feature, Landau has released the first ten minutes of the film into the public forum. If you haven’t seen the flick, this is currently the best way to discover it, as “Take Out” has yet to find its way into the hands of those who would enjoy it most. Someone release this thing, already! What the hell!

“Take Out” stars Justin Walker from “Clueless”, Judd Omen from “Pee-wee’s Big Adventure”, Daniel Roebuck from “The Fugitive” and Chase Masterson from “Star Trek: DS9″. The aforementioned clip resides below. Check it out below.

Todd was raised on a steady diet of Hollywood blockbusters, late-night Cinemax programming, and USA’s “Up All Night,” which may explain why his taste in movies is more than a little questionable. When he isn’t providing news and reviews for Beyond Hollywood, he can be found lounging lazily on his couch, perched in front of his television, or dwelling in places where direct sunlight can be easily avoided. He's happily married, in his 30's, and totally badass. If you'd like to reach Todd, you can follow him on Twitter or send him email/scoops to todd (at)
