Being a fan of kickass women, I am of course excited for ABC’s new action-drama “Missing”, starring Ashley Judd as a former CIA spook who has since retired to a husband and darling son. The husband is played by Sean Bean, and you guessed it, he dies pretty early in the show. That leaves Judd with her darling son, who grows up to be a darling teenager, before he goes missing. Judd, of course, will have none of it, and soon must assume her old role as CIA badass to retrieve her missing offspring.
After CIA Agent Paul Winstone was murdered, his wife, Becca, and their son, Michael, struggled to rebuild their lives. Now, 10 years later, Michael goes missing under suspicious circumstances, and Becca will do anything it takes to find him. Becca flies to Rome for answers, but no one takes her seriously — so she takes matters into her own hands. Becca isn’t just a mother looking for her son; both she and Michael’s father were CIA agents, so whoever took Michael has messed with the wrong mother.
The show doesn’t kick off its pilot episode until March 15, 2012, but IMDB.com currently has the full episode online for you to watch now. Click on the image below to get an early look at “Missing”.
Besides Judd and Bean, “Missing” co-stars Cliff Curtis as Judd’s former CIA boss, Adriano Giannini, Tereza Vorísková and Nick Eversman as the missing tyke.
