Watch The X-Men: DOFP Clip From the End of The Amazing Spider-Man 2

If you went into Marc Webb’s “The Amazing Spider-Man 2″ and dutifully stayed after the end credits, then you caught this minute-long clip from Bryan Singer’s “X-Men: Days of Future Past.”

Mind you, not that the scene, featuring Jennifer Lawrence’s Mystique (in, from what I can tell, Vietnam during the war?) had anything to do with Spidey’s second onscreen rebooted adventure. It was more a case of Fox trying to get as much bang for their buck as possible and just willy nilly tossing in this clip since they own both Spidey and the X-Men.

And so … here’s Jennifer Lawrence kicking a bunch of soldiery asses. Then mutant guys do their mutant stuff. Lucas Till, aka Havoc, is also in this one, as well as the toad-like guy. You know, the one who eventually gets electrocuted by Halle Berry’s Storm in Bryan Singer’s first “X-Men” movie? Yeah, that guy.

“X-Men: Days of Future Past” stars Lawrence and Till, along with Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Ellen Page, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, and follows Spidey into theaters this May 23rd.

Do you know what happens to a toad that gets struck by lightening?

LMAO!!! That line STILL makes me cringe to this day! I remember sitting in the theater loving X-men, and then that line hit and I was like REALL?!?! It wasn’t so much the line as the answer. I was expecting a real stinger.

      • Aegon the Conqueror

I’ve never liked the original x-men, not even as a kid. I loved number two though. In fact after the first viewing I even liked Last Stand more.

Last Stand just irritated me because of SUCH a missed opportunity with Colossus and Juggernaut. The movie had potential all over but they wasted it making it another Wolverine and The X-men film.

          • Aegon the Conqueror

Well when it came out I was barely a teenager, so I can be forgiven for liking it then. The list of x-men movies I do like is actually much shorter than those I like.
In descending order First Class, X2, the Wolverine, 1st half of X-men Origins, X-Men, First Class, Second half of Origins.

And that was the only line in the film written by Joss Whedon
