In April of this year, Zack Snyder and the Watchmen gang asked viewers and fans of Watchmen to produce their own 1980s-inspired TV commercials and send them in; the chosen winners got $1000, but the biggest prize is having their commercials show up in the background of the Watchmen movie itself. Yes, that’s right, Warner Bros. is going to take your hard work and put it in their movie, and all you’re getting is a lousy $1000 for it. Suckers! Anyhoo. Some of the entries were very cool, and it wouldn’t surprise me to learn that they were produced by professionals.

Also, according to Collider.com, the first teaser trailer for “Watchmen” will show up in front of Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight”, basically guaranteeing that if you didn’t know about “Watchmen” before, you soon will.
