Watchmen’s Awesome Opening Credit Sequence

Here’s the really great opening credit sequence for Zack Snyder’s “Watchmen”. If this opening the film (after the Comedian’s murder) doesn’t get you jazzed up for the rest of the movie, then you were probably looking for that new Kate Hudson romantic comedy and entered the wrong auditorium, which makes you sorta stupid, but eh, whatever.

The whole thing is shot to Bob Dylan’s “The Times They Are A-Changin'”, and chronicles the rise and fall of the superheroes from 1939 and ending in 1985, when Rorschach and the boys appear to take over where the original Minutemen left off. The whole thing is exciting and incredibly depressing at the same time.

Via the folks at Motionographer, who did the title sequence for the movie. Warner Bros. has told them to remove it, but they slyly link to this video anyway. Awesome.
