Remember Wesley Snipes’ horror-Western “Gallowalkers”? No? I don’t blame you. It’s been ages since we last reported on the movie, way back in 2009 when the film released an early trailer and it was still called “Gallowwalker”. But we haven’t forgotten, no sirree Bob. Snipes did the movie in 2008, before he started his prison stint on tax evasion. He’s due out later this year, just in time to help promote the movie!

You see, VMI Worldwide has picked up the film, and plans to start selling it to buyers at the European Film market and at the Berlin International Film Festival, scheduled for later next week. In case you’ve forgotten, here’s the plot of the film:

GALLOWALKERS is the story of a mysterious gunman, Aman (Snipes), the son of a nun, who breaks her covenant with God to ensure his survival. Her break with God curses her son to be hunted by all those who die by his hand – When he takes revenge on a gang that murdered his love, the gang rises as a cursed crew of undead warriors and hunt him mercilessly, seeking their ‘dying’ revenge.

Basically, Blade on a horse.

The film was directed by Andrew Goth, who previously directed the pretty cool vampire movie “Cold and Dark” with Luke Goss. If all goes well, look for it in 2013.
