Wait, what? So Megan Fox has been “fired” from “Transformers 3”? Well, it’s more like Paramount has decided not to pick up an option to have her back for the third movie. At least, that’s according to Deadline, who also adds that director Michael Bay and screenwriter Ehren Kruger are currently finishing up the script. Confused yet? I know I am.
Here are some reasons to be confused: we’ve already seen set pictures of Fox on the set of “Transformers 3”. What the heck is she doing there if she’s been “fired”, all dressed up and, you know, acting? Secondly, why is Bay and Ehren Kruger still “finishing up” the script, when shooting has already begun on the sequel, with videos of the shoot already online everywhere? Granted, the “Transformers” movies are not exactly great examples of excellent screenwriting, but you’d think movie studios don’t commit to $200 million dollar films without a finished script.
Meanwhile, CNN seems to have confirmed this report, saying that a Paramount rep has confirmed the news to them.
The lesson here, kids? When you’re in your 20s and you just happen to be genetically gifted with smoking hot looks, it doesn’t necessarily mean you can say whatever pops into your head and fear no ramifications. Do not call the guy who gave you a movie career “Hitler”, and do not tell people that you wish Megatron would murder Midwesterners who don’t agree with your politics.
