What if … the Hulk was French?

French filmmaker David Sarrio is apparently a big-time comic book fan, specifically the House of Ideas, aka Marvel, because he’s produced and shot short films for everything from The Hulk to The Punisher to Daredevil. You can find all of his work at his YouTube channel. The Hulk comes in two-parts for a full 10 minutes, and posits Bruce Banner as a prisoner of the military complex trying to discover his gamma project secrets. It’s very good, one of those paranoid thrillers on a budget.
You can find short films for Daredevil and Punisher at his YouTube Channel here.
Here’s the Hulk two-parter:
According to David, he was actually up for the directing gig on “Punisher 2: War Zone”, which was why he shot the Punisher trailer, as a sort of demo reel for Lions Gate. The job, as we now know, went to Lexi Alexander, who is doing post on the film as we speak.
Here’s the two-minute trailer he shot. It’s pretty damn impressive, I have to say.
