When Electro Gets Angry, Things Burn

Electro Comic BookYou can usually count on director Marc Webb (or, probably more likely, one of his assistants) to tweet at least one pic from the set of “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” once a day, or thereabouts. Usually it’s pretty meh stuff like a box here, a piece of costume there, a logo there, etc. Not really worth posting, in my opinion.

Today, though, Webb finally tweeted something worthwhile. It’s an extra hiding behind a burning car, with the caption: “This is what happens when you try to give Electro a ticket.” Okay, so not Andrew Garfield or even Jamie Foxx (Electro himself) doing the damage, but close, I guess.

Check out the pic below.

In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds, life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen, high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro, emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

Starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Shailene Woodley, Sally Field, Felicity Jones, Paul Giamatti, Martin Sheen, Dane DeHaan, and Colm Feore.
