The Super Hero theme would NOT have translated into a movie any company would make, and Millar gets big time publicity for his comic (which I'm assuming was creator owned, and probably receives checks on still.) Its funny that WANTED starts with some bullshit story about Millars brother telling him the villains killed heroes, and that's where he got the idea for the comic. The book comes off as 8 mile meets Super Friends and it's authorial voice is terribly bigoted. It strikes me funny that Millar really wins from this deal.
