Will Smith to Produce, Kevin James to Star in Monster Hunter

Will Smith just can’t get enough of him some monsters. His latest venture into monstrosity land is producing the (from the sounds of it) horror-comedy “Monster Hunter”, starring that fat guy from The King of Queens, Kevin James. A comedian by trade, James was recently seen alongside Smith in the romcom “Hitch” from a few years ago.
So what’s it about? Says Bloody-Disgusting:
Written by Robert Baird and Daniel Gerson the film is about a child psychologist who can actually see the monsters that torment kids from closets and under beds. He uses that skill to vanquish the beasts until he meets a particularly nasty one.
If James is involved, it’s most definitely a comedy. I can’t see having a fat leading man if it’s NOT a comedy. Maybe he can get Adam Sandler to guest star as an annoying monster that does whiny voices…
