Let’s face it, the idea that we’ll have to wait nearly a FULL YEAR just to get some new “Walking Dead” episodes via Season 2 is more pain than most of us can bear. (If you happen to NOT be a fan of this show, then whatever, go watch “Two and a Half Men” or something, you tasteless mook.) According to Bryan Cranston, star of AMC’s “Breaking Bad”, though, we may not have to wait until October of 2011, as previously thought. Via DailyBlam, Cranston told New York Magazine this:
It was a decision from AMC that they wanted to position us in July… They want to attract as many eyeballs as possible, away from the heavy competition of the September, November [or] January start. I believe they’re going to put Walking Dead in July as well.
Here’s hoping Cranston is plugged in enough to know this for sure, cause having to wait for new flesh-rotting zombies in October of 2011 would just really, really suck.
Season 2 of “The Walking Dead” would more than double the 6-episodes of the first season with a total of 13 new episodes.
