Will Udo Kier Help Tom Six Create The Human Centipede 3?

I know it’s just a rumor at this point, but I’m of the belief that Udo Kier would be a perfect fit for the “Human Centipede” franchise. Kier has practically made a career out of portraying creepy characters, and, truthfully, Dieter Laser’s performance in the first film is eerily reminiscent of the aforementioned cult actor’s work. With Laser out of the picture for “Final Sequence”, it only makes sense that Six and company would try to find someone to fill the peculiar thespian’s misshapen shoes. So to speak.

Laser, as you may recall, recently had a falling out with the controversial filmmaker, resulting in a nasty lawsuit and some mud-slinging. Dr. Hieter and Martin — that bug-eyed weirdo from “Full Sequence” — were supposed to team up for the final installment, so the split isn’t exactly what Six had in mind. However, Kier could be the solution to that problem.

“The Human Centipede 3″ is supposed to be the final chapter in the epic trilogy, which will conclude with a 500-person centipede. How will Six manage such a diabolical act? That remains to be seen. However, if production is going to move ahead without Laser, then Kier is the only clear choice. Here’s hoping this isn’t just another silly Internet rumor.

About Todd Rigney

Todd was raised on a steady diet of Hollywood blockbusters, late-night Cinemax programming, and USA’s “Up All Night,” which may explain why his taste in movies is more than a little questionable. When he isn’t providing news and reviews for Beyond Hollywood, he can be found lounging lazily on his couch, perched in front of his television, or dwelling in places where direct sunlight can be easily avoided. He's happily married, in his 30's, and totally badass. If you'd like to reach Todd, you can follow him on Twitter or send him email/scoops to todd (at) beyondhollywood.com.
