For some reason I can remember reading an comic where Logan rescues a boy from the Nazis. Then when I saw the first X-MEN movie and Magneto it kind of reminded me of the pics from the comic. Am I just not remembering correctly, or could the boy have been Magneto and Wolverine saved one of his future enemys. Who cares if he is wearing US or Canadian insignia. More then likely not. Americans know about Omaha and probably a lesser extent Utah beach, but many were unaware of the British/Canadian contributions liberating Juno, Sword and Gold Beaches. Those battles were just as if not more bloody then the ones the US forces faced that fateful day as well. For the "nerds" that might get pissed off that he served with a US unit and not a Canadian unit.. You did have Canadian and Americans serving in the same battions during WWII, The famous "Devils Brigade".
