Wonder Woman Kicks More Ass in Another Justice League: War Clip

Apparently Wonder Woman kicks a lot of ass in the new D.C./Warner Bros. original animated movie “Justice League: War,” which pits the Justice Leaguers against Earth-invadin’ bad guy Darkseid and his flying, er, robot monkeys. Or something. They look like flying monkeys from “The Wizard of Oz,” only with robot parts.

Anyways, check out another clip from the movie featuring Wonder Woman, which makes this the second clip from the movie with the last. That’s Michelle Monaghan (“Source Code”) doing the voice, in case you were wondering.

When the powerful Darkseid and his massive, relentless forces invade Earth, a group of previously unaligned super heroes – misunderstood and, in some cases, hunted by the authorities – discover the only way to fend off the attack will be to work together as a cohesive unit. Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, Shazam and, in his origin story, Cyborg combine their respective talents in an all-out battle to save the planet. Based on the 2012 graphic novel, “Justice League: Origin,” by Geoff Johns & Jim Lee, Justice League: War provides a glance into the world before the Justice League was created, and offers the initial animated incarnation of DC Entertainment’s “The New 52.”

Directed by Jay Oliva, the film features Jason O’Mara as Batman, Alan Tudyk as Superman, Justin Kirk as Green Lantern, Christopher Gorham as the Flash, Michelle Monaghan as Wonder Woman, and Steve Blum as Darkseid.

Hitting DVD/Blu-ray this February, 4 2014.

In this movie, Wonder Woman can fly. Has she always been able to fly? I thought she used her invisible jet for flying.

She’s been able to fly for a long time, but still has the invisible jet as well. Depending on the story and the time and the writer.

That’s why it’s so hard to find a new Wonder Woman. Lynda Carter was the perfect woman for that role, and she’s one of a kind.

I like Wonder Woman’s strong warrior princess, she commands and kicks ass. She was a pleasant characterization in the story, whereas a few of the other heroes a bit off putting. Don’t hit Wonder Woman unless you’re willing to lose limb and life.
