Woody Harrelson Lost in Zombieland

Written by Nix | August 26th, 2008 | 0 Comments |

What, another horror-comedy about zombies? Yup, apparently, and this one stars Woody Harrelson as a zombie fighter named Albuquerque. Oooh, Albuquerque. Can you imagine the endless comedic possibilities with just making fun of his name? I bet the pathos behind that will be a riot. Right? Um, probably. Maybe. Damn, why do people still make horror-comedies about zombies?

THR has more on the flick:

Written by the team of Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (”The Joe Schmo Show”), “Zombieland” revolves around a mismatched pair of survivors who find friendship and redemption in a world overrun by zombies. Harrelson plays one of the men, a zombie fighter named Albuquerque.

Seriously, Hollywood. No more horror-comedies about zombies, please. Either go straight or don’t go at all. This is getting tedious. What’s next, zombie strippers– Oh, right. Nevermind.

In any case, I see direct-to-DVD written all over this one.
