XLrator Media Snatches Up North American Distro Rights for The Lost Coast Tapes

I still have a hard time saying — and typing — the title for the Bigfoot-oriented found footage flick “The Lost Coast Tapes”. In fact, I’ve had to edit this post no less than FOUR TIMES to change “loast” to “lost”. This probably suggests that I have some sort of unidentified disorder, so instead of addressing the problem, I’ll simply drown my worries in a big ol’ pool of independent cinema. XLrator Media has acquired North American distribution rights to the aforementioned tongue twister, which may find its way into theaters this fall. Yay!

Something spooky is lurking within this synopsis:

The Lost Coast Tapes follows “a disgraced investigative TV reporter, is on a mission to debunk a famed “Bigfoot Hunter” who claims to possess the body of a dead Sasquatch — and when the reporter and his crew arrive in Northern California, they are thrilled that the hunter’s zealous belief in his hoax is going to make for a wildly entertaining episode of campy paranormal TV. However, when the hunter’s partner is mysteriously attacked, the team is left alone and reality begins to set in.

Director Corey Grant’s “The Lost Coast Tapes”, which stars Drew Rausch, Ashley Wood, Rich McDonald, Frank Ashmore, and Noah Weisberg, will hopefully have an opportunity to mess with Sasquatch later this year. In the meantime, feast your furry eyes on the trailer embedded below. Keep up with the film by liking the official Facebook page.
