Your First Look at Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones 4

Written by Nix | June 22nd, 2007 | 0 Comments |

The Indiana Jones official site has your first look at Harrison Ford in the dusty hat and dusty brown ensemble (picture below), thanks to a photograph snapped of Harrison Ford reclining on the set of, one presumes, “Indiana Jones 4″. And apparently the photographer is some guy named “Steven Spielberg”. Hey, isn’t that the same guy who is directing this thing for George Lucas? Could be, could be…

Other “Indiana Jones 4″ (to be called, reportedly, “Indiana Jones and the City of the Gods”) updates include Jim Broadbent joining the cast, presumably as a replacement for the missing (and retired) Sean Connery. He’s old enough to be Ford’s dad, anyway.

Also confirmed for the film, which has already commenced shooting this month under Spielberg, is Cate Blanchett as Jones’ love interest, and “it” boy (and from what I’ve heard, Spielberg’s current puppy dog obsession) Shia LaBeouf, as Jones’ son.

The plot is rumored to involve aliens, and of course, those blasted Nazis.

Some major, major SPOILERS about “Indiana Jones 4″ were revealed previously here. Rather they are true or not remains to be seen.

For the first time since 1989, Harrison Ford dons the familiar costume on Thursday, June 21, 2007, as the upcoming Indiana Jones adventure begins production under the direction of Steven Spielberg. The new Indiana Jones movie is set in the 1950s and stars Shia LaBeouf, Cate Blanchett, John Hurt, Ray Winstone and Jim Broadbent. The Lucasfilm Ltd. production will be released by Paramount Pictures worldwide on May 22, 2008.
