First Look at Thor’s Frost Giant. Well, the Toy Version, Anyway.

Apparently someone got their hands on an early version of the “Thor” toys based on the upcoming Kenneth Branagh movie, which includes your first look at the Frost Giants (or Giant, anyway) that will be hassling Thor in the movie. If the Thor, Odin, and Loki toys are any indication, then these look pretty much like the movie versions, which would mean the Frost Giant will also resemble the movie version. Check it out below.

“Thor”, directed by Kenneth Branagh, arrives in 2011 with Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Natalie Portman as his mortal love interest, Anthony Hopkins as Papa Odin, and Tom Hiddleston as Loki.

Eh, if they ALL are JUST over 6-7 feet tall, then my faith in this movie has dropped 100%. I could understand a few short ones but according the comics and Norse mythology they tower at 20-30 feet tall, heck Ymir was 1000FT tall. Lord of The Rings and Harry Potter captured the trolls and ogre sizes correctly. I just hope Branagh didn’t cheese out and give us midget frost giants. Loki should be the only one.

I hope they have that sleeveless costume in the film or maybe even the Avengers because it really looks good.

I hope that these figures come with helmets. As for the Frost Giants, they could have the ability to grow. That would be cool. I just hope that it translates well in the movie. I was hesitant when I first heard about the Thor movie, then I saw the trailer and I was relieved to see that it looked pretty good. Now as the premier draws closer I am starting to get jittery again. This film is so easy to screw up that it feels as though it still might miss.
