Sylar Zachary Quinto, who we all probably know from NBC’s “Heroes” when it was good a couple of years ago and most recently as Spock in the “Star Trek” movie and the upcoming sequel, has been cast in Ryan Murphy (creator of “Nip/Tuck” and that annoying “Glee” show) and Brad Falchuk’s spooky new FX drama series “American Horror Story”.
According to Deadline, Quinto will appear in at least 4 episodes and play Chad, the gay former owner of the house who becomes friends with Vivien. Quinto will make his debut in a big two-part Halloween episode of “AHS”, which Murphy and Falchuk are working on. The first part will air in the series’ regular Wednesday night time slot on Oct. 26, followed by Part 2 on Halloween night.
For those who have yet to know what the heck the show’s about (shame on you), the show stars Dylan McDermott, Connie Britton and Jessica Lange. The show centers on therapist Ben Harmon (McDermott) and his wife Vivien (Britton) who, dealing with the aftermath of the husband’s adultery, move along with their kids into a new house that seems to know all about their fears and plays on them.
