Zombie Comic Book Fragile Headed to Big Screen

You can never get enough of zombie movies, right? Well, okay, you can. Even for a fan of zombie movies like myself, I’m beginning to think there are way too many zombie movies headed to the big screen at the moment. Sure, some of they refuse to call themselves a “zombie movie”, but we all know it’s a zombie movie. The latest is “Fragile”, a comic book that is currently heading to the big screen under the direction of Eduardo Rodriguez (“Open Grave”), from a script by Jeff Dixon. “Fragile’s” got a pretty good premise, but this is one of those movies that would probably work better as a direct-to-DVD horror movie.

The story from Variety:

Based on the graphic novel by Stephano Raffaele, story kicks off after an airborne virus has reduced much of the Earth’s population to feral zombies. A recently undead soldier then teams with a female zombie and a human teenager, racing against time to find a cure before being hunted down by the soldier’s former military unit.

It basically takes the point of view of the living dead this time around instead of the humans, which is something you don’t see everyday. In fact, I don’t think we’ve ever seen this, so it should be interesting…

Cool Stories From Zergnet

  • El Zombo

Technicaly, it’s more of a romance novel, but with zombies casted as the main characters.

Probably the only comic I’ve ever gotten emotional over and that ain’t easy for me to say.

They better do a damn good job with the movie or else they’ll find out the title isn’t going to be the only thing Fragile around their studios.
