H2: Halloween 2 (2009) Movie, Horror Movie News, Movie Images — By Nix on April 23, 2009

Rob Zombie has already said that “H2: Halloween” the sequel is all him, and has nothing at all to do with the previous “Halloween” franchise, #2 or otherwise. And in his latest blog, Zombie also defends his reasons for returning to do a sequel after having said over and over that he would never ever do a sequel. According to Zombie, it took him a year and a half, but he realized there were more stories he wanted to tell, and thus, he returned. Plus, two more pics from “H2″, including more Michael Myers in a hoody.

The sequel stars Malcolm McDowell, Scout Taylor-Compton, Tyler Mane, Daeg Faerch, Bill Fagerbakke, Daniel Roebuck, Mark Christopher Lawrence, Chris Hardwick, Ezra Buzzington, Jeffrey Daniel Phillips, and is directed by Rob Zombie.

Grab your hoody August 28.

I am a big fan of both rob and halloween and i think he did a kick ass job on the first and i cant wait for the 2nd. He might have changed some from the 78 but if he didnt it would have been the same movie. It wouldnt be zombie if he didnt throw in is own twist keep up the work rob.

If he wants to make a horror movie, then why not create his own. Why take a classic and re-do it and then say you are not re-doing it…it’s your own? I hated the other one he did..it was dirty and trashy and nasty filming. I like the good old ones and yes I will watch the old ones and I don’t think I’ll see this one..even for me as an avid horror movie watcher his type of horror is just too gross.

Yeah. i was saying the samething. he made it how he thought it would come out in his mind because of the new tecnology. but to me he should have made different but have it film like the old. cause if he make a films that is an old and classic then he need to put old and new together. that would make it more interesting.

Rob Zombie did a alright job on the first Halloween. Even though it wasn’t like the original, too me it was kind of boring. I love all Micheal Myers movies. When he remade the first he used differents settings. Thats what made it not like before. Hopefully when he remake the Second part it will be better and kind of relate to the original Halloween because that would make it have more viewers and ratings. The first one should have been the same but in a different way though. overall it was still good.

I personally am looking forward to this film. I (like so of the other morons) protested the first one – scared I might like it. In the end, I did not like it – I loved it! Rob Zombie is without a doubt the most prolific horror movie director to come along in ages. His “remake” was great – I can’t wait to see what this one is like. I was there in ‘78 and saw the original in theaters – so i will say this – people – if you want to see the same movie, the same mask, etc – watch the original and stop belly aching! if you want something different and fresh – check it out! BTW – I came across a ridiculous petition which used the work “unsalvageable” – as if part 6, H20 and that horrible one with Busta Rhimes were any good…….

I cannot believe that there are so many people complaining about this movie. Rob, to begin with, that he was going to tell his own story with the first one.

To want these movies to be just like the originals is just stupid. Almost every movie made nowadays is a remake. My Bloody Valentine, The Last House on the Left, Prom Night, The Hitcher, to name only a few. ALL REMAKES. There are so many of these floating around out there. And Honestly? Other than more blood, just like the originals…except with horrible plot changes

At least Rob’s versions give something new.
I think it’s safe to say that Mr. Zombie’s Halloween movies are loosely based on the originals, and I think he’s doing a grotesquely beautiful job with it.

So, whatever. Keep complaining about the hoodie pics *rolls eyes*

for all thos stating that wearing the hood makes myers look homeless… he is homeless, isnt he? … zombie has a creative twist, its his vision… like stated previously, he could have copied the original, but where is the fun in that… quit bitchin, if you dont want to see it, thats fine… its zombies version.. how is that killing the franchise?
